In OJSC “Surgutskoye”, in the Sergievsky district of the Samara region, they completed the picking of apples, collecting 16% more fruit than last year, the marketing department of SINKO Group reports
In 2018, the apple harvest on the farm was at the level of 5.77 thousand tons.
"Surgut" grows berries and fruits in the territory of Sergievsky and Koshkinsky districts of the Samara region, and Spassky district of the Penza region.
Agricultural lands in the region have a total area of 2.2 thousand hectares. Of these, about 1 thousand are apple orchards, 100 ha. berry-trees occupy, and the rest - arable land and reclaimed soil. The horticultural company owns 2 fruit storage facilities for 2 thousand tons and a processing plant.
Fresh and processed fruits are sold under the trademark "YaFO" both locally and in different parts of Russia.
Every year, the SINKO group of companies, including Surgutskoye, invests in the development of gardens. Since 2016, 118 million rubles have been allocated for the establishment of intensive plantings, the purchase of equipment and drip irrigation.
After harvesting, gardening begins to process it. They have already begun to prepare for the winter season: the company's employees are working to protect trees from rodents, shelter strawberries, transplant apple trees, and replace old and dead trees with new ones. At 2.3 ha. 836 apple trees have already been transplanted.
