An unusual field is located on the territory of the Kiev region. This is an eco-farm O-Lawander. A couple of entrepreneurs took 80 hectares of soil under lavender, blackberry and organic strawberries.Mostepanyuki entrepreneurs invested about $ 8 thousand in a common business. Planting was the most expensive.
In 2018, farmers harvested approximately 1 ton of organic strawberries. There was no harvest of lavender yet. Plants were planted last year and now they are building up green mass, explains Alexander Mostepanyuk.
In their work, farmers do not use chemicals that can harm human health. Only drip irrigation and organic fertilizers are used.Environmental standards in crop production can be assessed as stringent. So, strawberries are considered a crop that is unstable to damage by diseases and pests. The only way out in this situation is to block these risks by introducing organic matter.
In the immediate plans of the company is the conversion of lavender plantations into an eco-park and their hourly delivery for paid photo shoots.
The current plantation areas are planned to be increased by another 15-20 acres. And also open another eco-park.
Earlier it was reported that in the Chernivtsi region, areas for planting tulips and other flowers were allocated in the territory of two villages of the Kitsmansky district. When the plants enter the flowering phase, a flower festival will be inaugurated here. Its approximate date is April 29, 2019.
