In the territory of the village of Ust-Urluk, which is located on the expanses of the Trans-Baikal Territory, a quarantine regime has recently been introduced in connection with the infection of the local livestock of farm animals with the brucellosis virus.
It is known that this village is located on the territory of the Krasnochikoysky region, and seventeen cattle were immediately injured by brucellosis.
Such information was shared by representatives of the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Trans-Baikal Territory on their official website. In particular, the report says that preventive and recreational measures are being taken on the territory of a potentially dangerous area.
It is known that a specialized authorized team of experts who have extensive experience in conducting such manipulations works at the site of the outbreak. Andrei Lim, the head of the state veterinary inspection of the Trans-Baikal Territory, also traveled to the scene.
Having discussed the problem, experts came to the conclusion that the affected animals infected with brucellosis should undergo the euthanasia procedure.
As for the owners of individuals affected by brucella, they will be entitled to payment of compensation from the regional budget. The amount of payment will be equal to the current value of animals in the agricultural market.
