In Barnaul, greenhouses began to harvest autumn garden crops.
Despite the drizzle outside the greenhouse, inside it is an oasis of non-Siberian summer, where the temperature reaches 30 degrees, and the humidity is like tropical - 80%. In such conditions, vegetables ripen for 20 hours in a row almost non-stop.
Inna Repina, head of the production department, says: “We had two cycles, after cucumbers we switched to tomatoes. Now we will have two short cycles of 3-4 months, and we continue to produce cucumbers. "
The operator has invested heavily in production in order to introduce technologies from its own greenhouses of Smolensky, Yaroslavl and Novosibirsk greenhouse complexes in Barnaul. By early November, they plan to produce 60 tons of fresh produce.
Andrei Sedunov, general director of the greenhouse complex Tolmachevsky says this: “We have ambitious plans. "Industrial" produced about 80 kg., We plan 120 kg. for the current year per month. Further, we strive to reach the level of 140 kilograms of cucumbers. "
Greenhouses are the property of the region, but Industrial was closed last summer. Currently, 109 employees have joined the new venture.
Natalia Ushakova, producer: “We were all worried about the future of the enterprise. After some time, they invited us to join the new team. Salaries are paid on time in accordance with the agreement. ”
Nadezhda Mazurova, producer: “Once you master the technology, work out the pace, you can earn extra. At the moment, we are all learning. ” The company is installing lighting for two more greenhouses. Seeds for tomatoes grown there have already been sown.
Near the entrance, a foundation is being built for the packaging facility. Gas boiler room is already completed. The operator plans to invest at least another 3.6 million euros in barnaul greenhouses next year.
