Less than two months are left until the day when Russian landowners cannot evade the mandatory procedure: if summer residents want to rebuild their country house, reconstruct it or completely demolish the building and sow the plot with lawn grass, they will need to be notified of their plans and actions representatives of local authorities.
“Starting from March 1, 2019, owners of summer cottages will be required to report on the reconstruction or construction of real estate on their territory to the administration of the district or okrug where the plot is located,” representatives of the Russian government confirm the information. And they emphasize that if the construction or reconstruction process was launched before the beginning of August 2018.
The owner of the summer cottage has the opportunity to submit documents for the registration of real estate for cadastral registration and state registration of rights before March 1.
It should be noted that in Russia for more than two years now there has been a simplified procedure for obtaining rights to buildings erected as part of individual housing construction. This procedure is relevant for those sites that were provided for use before November 2001.
