In the period from January 1 to August 1, 2019, Ukrainian producers shipped over two hundred forty three and a half thousand tons of poultry meat to the world market.

The proceeds for this shipment amounted to three hundred and fifty six million seven hundred and fifty thousand US dollars.

Such information was shared with the public by representatives of the public relations department of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine. The department also added that Ukrainian exporters have regular buyers on the world stage.

Among them, an imposing first place in terms of purchases is occupied by importers from Saudi Arabia. They accounted for about twenty-five percent of total exports for the reporting period. It is known that customers from Saudi Arabia spent over ninety million one hundred seventy thousand dollars on Ukrainian chicken meat in the first seven months of this year.

The second place goes to the Netherlands - local importers laid out sixty-one million dollars for seventeen percent of Ukrainian export of chicken.

The third place is occupied by Slovak customers, who did not spare thirty-eight million dollars for almost eleven percent of chicken from the total export volume.
