As of September 11 of this year, Ukrainian farmers threshed 523 thousand tons of corn with an average yield of 5.89 tons / ha.
The highest crop yields at the reporting date were recorded in Volynskaya (10 tons / ha.), Vinnitsa (8.33 tons / ha.) And Sumy (8.23 tons / ha). This is evidenced by the data of the Harvest Online 2019 interactive map.
The lowest crop yield was recorded in the Odessa region, where corn is threshed with an average yield of 2 tons / ha.
As of the reporting date, grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine were harvested from an area of 10.2 million ha., 40 million tons of grain were harvested with an average yield of 3.93 tons / ha.
In particular, in the context of later cultures, the following were collected:
- corn - 523 thousand tons with a yield of 5.89 tons / ha .;
- buckwheat - 37 thousand tons with an average yield of 1.34 tons / ha;
- millet - 116 thousand tons with an average yield of 1.88 tons / ha .;
- soybeans - 651 thousand tons with an average yield of 2.28 tons / ha.
In addition, sunflower was harvested from 29% of the projected area, 3.6 million tons of grain were harvested with a yield of 2.1 tons / ha.
