Students of the Agrarian University of the city of Sumy showed the world their own unique invention - disposable tableware made from coffee grounds, which remains after drinking a strong drink.

It is known that coffee grounds are actively used in cosmetology, soil fertilizer and in the household. But the students of the food department went further and discovered a new use of coffee bean cake.

“From the thick, which remains after brewing coffee in various cafeterias of our city, we make a special solution, which we fill in the mold and let it dry. Soon we have in our hands an excellent disposable cup, the cost of which does not exceed 70 Ukrainian kopecks, ”the young inventors say.

According to them, the used cups of coffee grounds can be subjected to subsequent processing and get new cups. That's just the technology of their production entrepreneurial students keep secret.
