Based on the data released by experts of the All-Russian Consumer Union, it is quite problematic in the domestic market to find high-quality and safe meat for barbecue for human consumption.

The fact is that the authorized experts of the consumer union conducted research on pork samples, which is sold in Russian retail outlets as "pork barbecue."

At the disposal of experts were samples of several brands. In particular, the products of such brands as Auchan, Miratorg, Globus, Ostankino, O'Key, Myasnov and Okraina were analyzed.

When examining samples, competent laboratory staff relied on several dozen different factors. These analysis parameters helped experts determine that all samples had an indicator of fecal contamination.

Speaking specifically about products of the Okarina brand, this barbecue, as shown by studies, is infected with bacteria such as Listeria.

And in the pickled meat of all the studied brands, except for the Globus and Miratorg brands, an excess of the number of mesophilic aerobic and optional anaerobic microorganisms was recorded.
