50 hectares of crops destroyed the fire in the fields near the village of Sadovoye, Nikolsky district of Donetsk region. The fire in two adjacent areas with a total area of 200 hectares began yesterday, June 27, at about 17 hours.
By the forces of the State Emergency Service, the fire was liquidated at 19:20. Sowing wheat and barley with an area of 150 hectares was saved from fire.
In the fight against the fire element, 24 people and 8 pieces of equipment proved themselves. Of these, 16 are personnel of the State Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine and 4 pieces of equipment.
The cause of the ignition of the fields is unclear, at the moment it is being established by specialists, the department said.
Earlier it was reported that during the day on June 25 of this year in the Nikolaev area more than 33 hectares of wheat and dry grass burned down.
The fire swept the wheat fields of the Berezansky, Bratsky and Arbuzinsky areas of the Nikolaev area.
Prior to this, 23 hectares of winter barley were burned in a fire in the Vitovsky district of the same region.
And near Mariupol, unknown people several times set fire to the fields of local farming.
On June 18 this year, 18 hectares of new-season winter wheat burned out from Mariupol agrarians.
