Developers from the UK presented the world scientific community with three more robots - indispensable assistants in farming. Artificial intelligence, which scientists have awarded innovative robots, allows them to collect information using sensors, analyze it and, based on analytical findings, make one or another decision for action in the garden.

“In fact, our robots are mini-tractors with an unmanned control mode,” the developers say. - Each of these robots received a name: Harry, Dick and Tom. The first place for our “guys” to work will be Hampshire, where they, analyzing the weather, the condition of plants and soil, will be able to develop a whole plan for cultivating the land. ”

A robot named Tom carefully examines the location and creates a map of the field on which work is being carried out. As for Dick, he carefully monitors that the plants do not overcome the weeds - this is helped by the technology of artificial vision.

“Inspired by the success of our trinity, we plan to reduce the amount of chemical fertilizers used in agriculture by as much as 60%. And the yield according to our calculations should rise as much as 40%, given that Tom, Dick and Harry are responsible for their work. Yes, for the time being they cannot completely replace a person on the field, but they can do the routine work. ”
